Thomas R. Lewis Junior was born in 1922, to Thomas and Irene Lewis who lived in Treddfyrin Township, Chester County.  He was the youngest of three children.  

Thomas served with the 27th Bombardment Group and was reported as missing on February 1, 1946. His body was never recovered, but he is remembered on the Tablets of the Missing at the Manila American Cemetery in the Philippines.
