Junior Ray Luzier was born on February 12, 1924 to William and Maude Baker Luzier who lived in Thomas, West Virginia. Junior was one of nine children. At some point, Junior moved to Chester County.

Junior served in the army  and was assigned to B Company, 51st Infantry Regiment. 

Private Junior Ray Luzier was killed in action on December 1, 1944, in France. He is buried at the Rose Hill Cemetery, in Thomas West Virginia.
