Below is a note from Francis' cousin, Lou:

Francis- I waited so long to write because I could not find words to adequately express my sorrow. I still cannot. I cherish your memory. You died one month before my son Louie’s baptism. The day I heard of your passing I knew Louie’s middle name would be Francis. I miss and will always remember you, Aunt Anna, Uncle Duck and Patty. You will always be a part of my memories of the west end where our relatives and friends, resided together in harmony.

I will look for you “down at the corner” up in heaven.

Your cousin, Lou

Francis was laid to rest at Saint Cecilia Cemetery in Coatesville.
